India Has a $1.2 Trillion Plan to Snatch Factories From China

Modi’s government is developing a digital platform that unites 16 ministries as a part of a $1.2 trillion megaproject named PM Gati Shakti. The project aims to find new manufacturing clusters and connect them to the country’s ports, airports, and railway networks. Amrit Lal Meena stated that the goal is to have international companies choose India as their manufacturing hub.

An automated guided vehicle is employed to transport the components from the warehouse to the loading area, says Ashwin Rastogi. A robot lifts the component up, loads it into the internal circuit testing device, and then loads it onto the final circuit testing device.

Cred launches 'Scan & Pay' feature as it enters offline payment space

Members of Cred will be able to make payments straight from their bank accounts because of this UPI feature. The feature can also be utilised to carry out peer-to-peer (P2P) transactions by scanning a QR code or entering the beneficiary’s UPI id. Recently, Cred has introduced payment protection.

For quick in-situ decomposition of paddy straw, ICAR’s Pusa Decomposer has been proven successful. Abhilaksh Likhi said that the states should encourage the use of bio-decomposer, promote ex-situ utilisation of straw, etc., in order to effectively manage paddy stubble burning during the upcoming season.
